EmailLittle more remains to be said. The Scout as a “failure” was a decided “success.” We accomplished nothing, and the cost of the expedition will greatly add to the “National Debt. ” But this will only be a few more dollars added to the overburdened taxpayers of the country.
And now “loved ones” if you can derive any pleasure from the perusal of these pages, I shall feel happy. …
