Merlo John Pusey (1902 – 1985) was an American biographer and editorial writer who won the Bancroft Prize and the Pulitzer Prize for Biography or Autobiography for his 1951 biography of Charles Evans Hughes. He also authored The Supreme Court Crisis and Eisenhower, the President.Pusey worked for the Washington Post as an associate editor from 1928 to 1971.
