A pipe bombs explodes in Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics, killing two people. Richard Jewell, a security guard working at a concert in the park, found the bomb, designed and placed by Eric Robert Rudolph, who was convicted of four bombings in the Southeast.
