Edwin S. Grosvenor, President and Editor-in-Chief

Edwin Grosvenor has edited and managed four national magazines. Portfolio, launched in 1979, was the largest- circulation fine arts magazine in the United States for five years and was nominated for the National Magazine Award for General Excellence. It published writing by distinguished historians, curators, and critics, such as Lloyd Goodrich, Hilton Kramer, Theodore Stebbins, and John Wilmerding. He also published Current Books, a magazine of book excerpts and publications for Marriott and Hyatt Hotels. He is the author of Alexander Graham Bell (Henry N. Abrams, 1997).

Mr. Grosvenor is the sixth generation of his family involved in publishing. Both his grandfather and father were president and editor of the National Geographic Society, where his brother was board chairman.

Robert L. Jenkins, Associate Publisher

Robert Jenkins is Associate Publisher for American Heritage Publishing. This is his second tenure, as he was Advertising Sales Director from 2007-12 and later Membership Director for the American Heritage Society. Bob’s background is in media, starting with his days as a DJ, and Promotions and Marketing Director for radio stations in Honolulu, San Francisco, and San Jose, and was New Media Director for ABC Radio Network, Washington, DC.
