Michael Oreskes

Michael Oreskes is a journalist and author who has served in senior roles at The New York Times, the Associated Press, and NPR. He is the co-author (with Eric Lane) of The Genius of America: How the Constitution Saved Our Country and Why It Can Again, an examination of the history of the Constitution and the crisis it faces today. 

Oreskes worked for 20 years at The New York Times, where he held various positions such as metropolitan editor, Washington bureau chief, and deputy managing editor. He later became the vice president and senior managing editor at the Associated Press, before joining NPR as senior vice president of news and editorial director in 2015.

Oreskes is currently the executive editor of GlobalGoalsCast, a podcast about business development.
