Richard N. Current

During the academic year just concluded Richard N. Current, professor of history at the University of Wisconsin, served as Harmsworth professor of American history at Oxford University. Among his books are Daniel Webster and the Rise of National Conservatism . He is co-author, with the late J. G. Randall, of Lincoln the President: Last Full Measure , which received a Bancroft Award in 1956.
