Blizzard Aftermath

April 2024

Unfortunately I read “Blizzard” (February 1988) while sitting in the warm rays of the sunshine coming through the window. The extreme contrast of these two situations made the impact of the misery suffered by those children freezing in that school bus more poignant. I could not help weeping.

I do hope the state of Colorado felt impelled to recognize the heroism that Elbern Coons and a number of other individuals performed during the spring of 1931.

We hope you enjoy our work.
