The historic Kennedy Space Center offers a glimpse into the space program that helped America conquer the heavens. The Rocket Garden features eight rockets, including replicas of Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo capsules that visitors may sit in. A Saturn V rocket, the likes of which brought twelve Apollo missions into space between 1967 and 1973, is also on display. The Center additionally offers guided tours of the Mercury and Gemini launch sites from which America experienced some of its first successes in space.*

Houses Saturn V, the world's largest rocket launched 27 men into space between 1967 and 1973, brought 12 Apollo missions into space, including Apollo 11, which was the first mission to land on the moon (Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin). Guided tours of the Mercury and Gemini launch sites. "The ever-popular Rocket Garden is a Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex hallmark. The outdoor garden features eight authentic rockets from the past, including a Mercury-Atlas rocket similar to the one used to launch John Glenn into space in 1962. Elements include dramatic lighting, water features, “climb-in” Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsule replicas, seating and informative graphic elements." United States Astronaut Hall of Fame features a G-Force Trainer.
